What is VOLPLEX?

VOLPLEX is a sterile, apyrogenic plasma substitute solution for intravenous infusion. It is supplied in 500ml and 1000ml flexible plastic containers.

What does VOLPLEX do?

VOLPLEX is one of many solutions used as a temporary plasma substitute. Plasma is a component of blood. Loss of blood or blood components following bleeding, injury, surgery or burns for example may need to be replaced by a temporary plasma substitute.
